Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote position (excluding CA, HI, and AK)
- Standard business hours with flexibility for project deadlines
- Collaborative, nationwide team environment
Responsibilities
- Enter and verify accurate insurance and claims data in the practice management system.
- Review, submit, and follow up on clean claims for swift reimbursement.
- Collect, post, and manage patient account payments.
- Investigate and correct rejected or denied claims.
- Generate and review productivity and financial reports as directed.
- Send invoices, billing reminders, and make collection calls as needed.
- Provide timely, professional support to patients, facilities, and vendors.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all billing activities.
- Support additional coding, billing, and practice management projects as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of billing experience (3+ years healthcare preferred).
- Knowledge of revenue cycle processes, medical insurance, and accounting principles.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
