Schedule
- Remote, U.S.-based contract role
- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Client-facing with regular communication required
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain client websites using best coding practices
- Write clean, efficient, testable code in HTML, CSS, and related frameworks
- Build and manage new website projects, ensuring alignment with client goals
- Integrate data from back-end services and databases
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and security updates
- Collaborate with designers to achieve client vision
- Track and report website KPIs including SEO performance and user engagement
- Migrate sites across domains and hosting platforms as needed
- Optimize sites for speed, usability, and SEO best practices
- Support e-commerce site development and integrations
- Provide consistent, professional communication to clients
What You Need
- Must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- 5+ years of professional website development experience
- 5+ years of full-time virtual work experience
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, including plugins, custom themes, and migrations
- Proficiency with CSS, UI/UX principles, and troubleshooting WordPress issues
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and web hosting solutions
- Familiarity with SEO optimization and content strategy
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and project management tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
