Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Remote position with availability in 49 locations
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review, and amend plan documents for medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Prepare Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs)
- Support either the Renewal Group (updating renewing business) or the New Group Team (onboarding and drafting initial documents)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and COBRA
- Collaborate across teams to finalize benefit designs and maintain document accuracy
What You Need
- 3–5 years of extensive plan writing experience (self-funded or fully insured plans)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Prior insurance industry and benefits experience required
Preferred
- Knowledge of medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Familiarity with benefit terminology and compliance issues
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
