Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Flexible schedule; overtime and occasional weekends may be required
- Must be able to adapt to program and client demands
What You’ll Do
- Conduct benefit investigations and prior authorization support for patients and providers
- Assist physician offices with insurance forms and program applications
- Track and follow up on prior authorization requests, ensuring timely completion
- Document all payer, provider, and client interactions in CareMetx Connect
- Communicate effectively with payors, providers, and pharmacy staff to resolve issues
- Identify and report reimbursement delays or trends to leadership
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, SOPs, and adverse event reporting protocols
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, insurance, physician’s office, or related healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
- Knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits, with familiarity in commercial and government payers preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management ability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
