Responsibilities
- Perform collection follow-up with patients on delinquent and active accounts.
- Assist patients with resolving outstanding balances while providing excellent customer service.
- Update patient records with account activity and escalate problem accounts when necessary.
- Meet monthly department collection goals and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain production benchmarks while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and assist with projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- 1–2 years of collections, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred (pay differential offered).
- Ability to multitask across multiple technology platforms.
- General computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and email systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $18.50–$24.50 (depending on experience and location).
- Monthly commission bonus program.
