Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position (U.S.-based)
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
  • Minimal travel (<5%) for training and meetings

What You’ll Do

  • Answer incoming calls and emails from patients, clinicians, insurance companies, and sales managers
  • Educate callers on reimbursement processes, billing policies, and appeals documentation
  • Review and resolve front-end claim issues to ensure timely submission
  • Process EOBs, remittance advice, and denial letters with appropriate ANSI codes
  • Contact insurance companies for claim status and missing information
  • Post payments, submit documentation for adjudication, and review medical records for necessity
  • Investigate payer trends and identify changes in insurance processing requirements

What You Need

  • 3+ years customer service experience (call center preferred)
  • 2+ years health insurance billing experience with claims resolution
  • Knowledge of payer portals and billing cycle processes
  • Certification in Medical Billing and/or Coding (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Ability to type 35 WPM with 90%+ accuracy
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
