What You’ll Do
- Serve as a clinical resource for members, guiding screenings and preventive care
- Support members via phone, email, and chat with clinical inquiries
- Review client plan documents and prepare benefit coverage summaries
- Provide documentation outlining protocols for specialty care (e.g., oncology, bariatric, physical therapy)
- Act as a clinical contact for providers with treatment or coverage questions
- Follow up on pending items and ensure timely updates for members
- Maintain accurate documentation for legal and analytical review
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives and infographics for healthcare awareness months
- Suggest improvements to member engagement and marketing approaches
- Take on special projects and additional duties as assigned
What You Need
- Experience as a Care Coordinator, Case Manager, or similar healthcare role
- Strong clinical background with preventive care knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in handling inquiries across phone, email, and chat
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards and compliance
Preferred but not required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field
- Experience with healthcare plan documentation and benefit coverage
- Familiarity with educational and marketing material creation
- HIPAA certification or training
- USRN certificate or active NCLEX license
