What You’ll Do
- Accurately transcribe medical histories, exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans during patient visits
- Manage and update electronic health records (EHR) in real-time
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support seamless patient care
- Review and edit patient charts to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient records
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling and correspondence
What You Need
- Previous experience as a medical scribe or in healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems a plus
- Strong typing and transcription skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Certifications: CMSS or HIPAA certification preferred but not required
Technical Requirements:
- Primary internet: minimum 15 Mbps, with backup 10 Mbps connection
- Desktop/laptop with Intel Core i5 (8th gen+), i3 (10th gen+), AMD Ryzen 5, or better; 8GB RAM minimum
- Backup device that meets performance standards
