- Job Title: Demographics Charge Entry Specialist
- Location: Fully Remote (based in Richardson, TX office)

- Pay Range: $17.00 – $22.50/hour
What You’ll Do
- Create charge batches and enter anesthesia demographics into the patient accounting system
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and make necessary corrections
- Review CPT, ICD-10, ASA, and HCPCS coding on charge tickets
- Ensure anesthesia records support billing documentation
- Enter high-volume charge data with accuracy (goal: 150+ tickets/day by 90 days of employment)
- Resolve errors/rejections from Batch Error reports and assist Collections with billing corrections
- Run daily concurrency reports and audit for compliance
- Suspend incomplete or inaccurate tickets and seek clarification from providers/supervisors
- Identify cosmetic or prepaid cases and notify payment-posting department
- Maintain confidentiality and audit billing work as needed
What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a healthcare business office
- Billing/coding experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of anesthesia billing specialty a plus
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, ASA, and HCPCS coding
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation regulations
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and data entry
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing as a team player
