Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (must reside in an eligible state: AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI)
- Two evening shifts per week (12:00pm–9:00pm CST and 10:00am–7:00pm CST)
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to customers with past-due accounts to resolve delinquency
- Research accounts and determine the best resolution strategy
- Process payments, including credit card transactions, over the phone
- Provide hardship relief options within company policies
- Handle escalated or complex account questions and provide one-call resolutions when possible
- Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy cases
- Document all interactions and maintain compliance with policies and regulations
- Support administrative tasks as needed
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, email)
- Excellent verbal and written communication with professional phone presence
- Persuasion and negotiation skills with tact and diplomacy under pressure
- Strong typing and attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful conversations while achieving resolution goals
