Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (TX preferred)
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm Central Standard Time
- Specialty infusion prior authorization and benefits verification experience required
What You’ll Do
- Verify insurance benefits for medications, supplies, and infusion services
- Document coinsurance, copay, deductibles, and authorization requirements
- Calculate patient financial responsibility based on benefits, payer contracts, and pricing
- Initiate, follow up, and secure prior authorizations, pre-determinations, or medical reviews
- Gather and review clinical documentation for payer submissions
- Communicate with patients, referral sources, and internal teams about coverage status
- Assist patients in enrolling in manufacturer copay or foundation assistance programs
- Generate new patient start-of-care paperwork and maintain accurate records
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of home infusion specialty pharmacy or intake/reimbursement experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Ability to interpret payer contract fee schedules (NDC and HCPCS units)
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- CPR+ system knowledge preferred
