Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (TX preferred)
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm Eastern Time
- No weekends or holidays
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to commercial, government, and employer payers
- Review claims for pricing discrepancies and resolve promptly
- Submit secondary pharmacy and medical claims electronically and by paper when needed
- Bill manufacturer copays through portals or paper billing
- Monitor and meet payer-specific billing requirements
- Review EMR patient accounts for benefit verification, authorizations, and claim readiness
- Conduct monthly revenue reviews of billed claims
- Create and process claim batches electronically, manually resubmitting when required
- Ensure proper ICD10, CPT, HCPC, and modifier coding for maximum reimbursement
- Coordinate with pharmacy teams to resolve PBM issues
- Answer insurance/billing inquiries from staff and patients with clear communication
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, payer, and company regulations
What You Need
- Home infusion experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year in medical billing preferred
- Strong knowledge of HCPC coding, medical terminology, ICD10, CPT, and billing regulations
- Customer service mindset with excellent phone/email communication skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple billing tasks
- Experience with infusion or specialty pharmacy billing strongly preferred
