What You’ll Do
- Prepare and resubmit corrected claims to insurance companies (electronic and paper)
- Analyze and resolve rejected claims to minimize delays in reimbursement
- Research and follow up on primary and secondary billing claims
- Process claim appeals with complete and accurate documentation
- Recommend adjustments or write-offs based on account collectability
- Report billing issues or discrepancies to management for proactive resolution
- Generate and distribute monthly patient balance due statements
What You Need
- 1–3 years of experience in medical insurance claims billing and collections (preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
- Experience with physical therapy EMR systems (a plus)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer success–oriented mindset and problem-solving aptitude
