What You’ll Do
- Conduct benefit investigations and submit prior authorization forms for medical services and prescriptions
- Maintain communication with providers, payers, and internal teams to expedite approvals
- Log interactions in the CareMetx Connect system and follow standard operating procedures for documentation and adverse event reporting
- Resolve inquiries from providers and patients with professionalism and accuracy
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting (specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, or provider office preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Working knowledge of commercial and government payers, pharmacy/medical benefits, and prior authorization processes
