What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound inquiries from members, brokers, providers, and employer groups
- Verify eligibility, benefits, prescription drug coverage, and claims
- Assist members with provider networks, enrollment materials, and billing questions
- Process ACH and credit card payments by phone
- Document concerns, complaints, and appeals accurately and forward for resolution
- Ensure compliance with CMS, DMHC, NCQA, and other regulatory requirements
- Support projects including premium billing reminders, member education, and claims investigation
- Collaborate with internal departments to quickly resolve member issues
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of call center experience
- At least 1 year of Medicare customer service or in-office Medicare experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HMOs, performance management, and customer satisfaction practices
- Basic computer proficiency and documentation skills
Preferred
- Epic database experience
- AA in Business or Health Care Administration
