Schedule
- Remote, full-time position (U.S. only)
- 100% attendance required during training (no time off allowed within the first 60 days)
- On-camera participation expected during training, meetings, and check-ins
- Pay is competitive, with compensation based on experience and market data
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound calls and faxes from members, providers, and internal teams related to medication prior authorizations
- Provide status updates on requests and approvals
- Review and interpret provider documentation, entering data into the database with accuracy
- Follow up with healthcare providers for additional information as needed
- Multitask across multiple systems while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Work independently and collaboratively with minimal direct supervision
What You Need
- 1+ year of healthcare, claims, or medical administrative experience
- 1+ year of recent continuous employment with a previous employer
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and medication prior authorization processes preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Required equipment: 19″ (or larger) monitor with VGA/HDMI port, USB wired mouse, ethernet cable, optional wired keyboard
- Reliable hardwired internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
Preferred
- Prior experience directly managing or processing medication prior authorizations
