The team strengthens the well-being of individuals and families through education, guidance, advocacy, and support. All training and equipment are provided.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote (U.S.)
- Flexible 40-hour schedule within business operating hours
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace required
What You’ll Do
- Provide phone-based financial counseling using an established counseling model
- Explain options (budgeting, debt strategies, housing resources) with clarity and care
- Document every call accurately in the CMS while navigating multiple apps (Outlook, Adobe, Word, soft-phone)
- Handle high inbound volume, route referrals, and meet performance standards
- Uphold confidentiality and quality benchmarks across all interactions
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent Spanish and English; clear, professional phone communication
- 2+ years in customer service, call center, finance, case management, or social services
- Computer-literate; type 25+ WPM; comfortable multitasking across systems
- Coachable, organized, steady under deadlines
- Willing to obtain NFCC and HUD Housing Counselor certifications within 6 months
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
