Schedule
- Full-time, remote (U.S. based)
- Monday–Friday schedule with standard business hours
- Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities
- Process medical supply reorders accurately and quickly, including:
- Full insurance verifications
- Confirming customer information monthly/quarterly
- Ensuring Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs) and authorizations are valid before shipping
- Communicate with customers regarding insurance coverage, deductibles, and financial responsibility
- Collect and process payments for out-of-pocket costs before shipment
- Facilitate communication between customers, payers, case managers, and distributors
- Create purchase orders for distributors
- Provide responsive, solution-focused customer service for both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and federal regulations
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1+ years’ experience verifying insurance eligibility
- 1+ years’ experience calculating deductibles and coinsurance for primary and secondary policies
- Background in Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Solid decision-making and organizational skills
