Schedule

  • Full-time, remote role (U.S. based)
  • Evening shifts:
    • Sunday–Thursday, 1:00pm–9:30pm EST
    • Tuesday–Saturday, 1:00pm–9:30pm EST
  • Must be flexible for weekends and holidays

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound calls from patients and caregivers with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy
  • Provide clear, supportive guidance while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Collect and input caller information into systems with precision and timeliness
  • Use de-escalation techniques to handle sensitive or dissatisfied caller situations
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while maintaining rapport with callers
  • Build safe, trustworthy interactions using scripted and unscripted communication methods
  • Escalate urgent or complex issues to management when necessary
  • Meet department service level and performance goals consistently
  • Support additional administrative and compliance-related tasks as assigned

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
  • 2+ years of experience in case management, crisis intervention, or call center work preferred
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional, empathetic style
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple applications in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Reliable remote work setup with compliance to Lifepoint’s remote work policies
