What You’ll Do
- Review daily provider documentation for coding production assignments
- Deliver weekly and monthly feedback on documentation trends to specialists and providers
- Perform ongoing analysis of medical record documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Support senior education specialists on focused documentation initiatives
- Complete special projects and provide reporting as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or related field preferred
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent credential required
- 4+ years of coding experience and 2+ years of auditing experience
- Knowledge of hospital medicine coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and documentation standards
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
