Schedule

  • Full-time, remote role within the US
  • Standard Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility
  • Collaboration across Accounting, Client Success, and Account Management teams

Responsibilities

  • Collect aged past-due invoices, minimizing uncollectible balances and improving customer retention
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to resolve past-due balances
  • Post daily payments (ACH, wire, credit card) to invoices using Sage Intacct
  • Assist accounting with daily billing for both new and ongoing contracts
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, accounts, and payment histories
  • Partner with Customer Service to strengthen client relationships through collection strategies
  • Support Finance and Customer Success on ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Document accurate notes and maintain professional, solution-oriented communication

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in credit and collections or a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders, including in confrontational situations
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, continuously improving environment
  • Tenacious about learning and building new skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • $48,000 – $58,000 annual base salary depending on experience
  • Performance-based bonus of up to 10% of base pay
