Schedule
- Full-time, remote role within the United States
- Requires travel up to 25% for customer engagements and events
What You’ll Do
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with Blackboard customers, including C-suite leadership
- Conduct partnership reviews, track business objectives, and ensure customer sentiment is positive
- Execute prescriptive playbooks tailored to customer needs
- Serve as a strategic coordinator across internal teams and customer stakeholders
- Connect customers to best practices, resources, and engagement opportunities
- Coordinate renewals with sales teams, supporting cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Manage escalations, adoption challenges, and Blackboard LMS-related issues
- Advocate for customer needs internally to drive support and product enhancements
- Promote advocacy in the form of references and success stories
- Maintain detailed records in customer success software
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in Higher Education, EdTech, Customer Success, or Customer Experience
- 1+ years of direct experience with Blackboard LMS (admin, faculty, or customer side)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven experience managing accounts and driving adoption of complex solutions
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Proficiency with CRM and customer success tools
Preferred
- Advanced degree
- Experience supporting HBCUs or underrepresented student populations
- SaaS customer success experience
- 2+ years developing courses in Blackboard Learn
Compensation
- $79,000 – $90,800 expected hiring range (full range $79,000 – $118,500)
- Additional variable pay opportunities possible
