What You’ll Do
- Review and post insurance and patient payments with accuracy and compliance
- Resolve ERA auto-posting errors and prevent reconciliation issues
- Import payment files and manually post payments from banks or clearinghouses
- Perform adjustments, billing corrections, and account analysis for clean ledgers
- Assist with month-end reconciliation, ensuring all payments are recorded
- Collaborate with billing staff to resolve posting discrepancies
- Provide AR support, including claims research, appeals, and patient balance reviews
- Help maintain revenue cycle integrity through resubmissions and denial prevention
What You Need
- Knowledge of payment posting processes (adjustments, write-offs, refunds)
- Familiarity with payer policies, insurance laws, and medical billing terminology
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ten-key proficiency with speed and accuracy
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Prior AR or medical billing experience preferred
