What You’ll Do
- Prepare and resubmit corrected claims to insurance payers
- Analyze rejected claims and resolve errors for faster reimbursement
- Conduct follow-ups on primary and secondary billing claims
- Process appeals with accurate supporting documentation
- Recommend adjustments or write-offs to management as needed
- Generate and distribute patient balance statements
- Ensure compliance with multi-state and federal insurance regulations
What You Need
- 1–3 years of medical insurance claims billing/collections experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Google for Business, MS Office, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of physical therapy EMR systems (a plus)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Customer success-oriented mindset
