Schedule

Responsibilities
- Process release of information (ROI) requests with accuracy and efficiency
- Retrieve, scan, and transmit patient medical charts per audit requirements
- Manage retrieval projects for health plan and CMS audits (HEDIS, DRG, Risk Adjustment, Payment Integrity, RAC, CMS)
- Validate and track audit requests and authorizations
- Maintain secure client account logins and credentials
- Perform quality checks to ensure audit compliance and accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service while safeguarding patient privacy
- Document all inquiries, updates, and record transactions properly
- Maintain knowledge of HIPAA regulations, state laws, and fee structures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 2+ years’ experience in medical records or similar healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment (fax, copier, scanner)
- Ability to type 50+ WPM
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Customer-focused with proven satisfaction skills
- Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and preemployment testing
