About the Team
SmartAsset’s Account Executive sales team is a nationwide group of 50+ inside sales professionals and managers passionate about fintech, sales, and professional growth. As the company expands, we are adding more Account Executives who thrive in fast-paced, quota-driven environments and are motivated to make an impact.
Schedule
- Full-time role, remote (must live in the contiguous US, EST/CST/MST preferred)
- Standard weekday business hours
- Fast, 2-step interview process (Sales Manager → Senior Director of Inside Sales)
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, cold outreach, client education, and closing
- Make 100+ daily outbound calls to prospective clients
- Deliver consultative sales conversations, explain ROI, and close business
- Educate prospects on SmartAsset’s platform and benefits to their business
- Maintain organized contacts, activity tracking, and pipeline management in Salesforce
- Collaborate with leadership on strategies for revenue growth
- Operate with integrity, following organizational “Rules of Engagement”
Requirements
- 1–3 years of full sales cycle or Sales Development experience (inside sales or transactional sales preferred)
- Experience in high-volume outbound cold calling and quota-driven roles
- Proven ability to close deals independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Salesforce experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset
