Schedule
- Multiple schedules available, Monday–Friday
- Full-time, remote role (must reside in the United States)
Compensation
- $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound scheduling calls, meeting department service level goals
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments following established protocols
- Collect and accurately enter patient demographics and insurance details
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients using both scripted and unscripted methods
- De-escalate dissatisfied callers with empathy, escalating issues to management when needed
- Navigate multiple software systems and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Protect confidentiality of all account information
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of call center or customer service experience required
- Basic healthcare knowledge preferred
- Experience in a medical setting with insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred
- Ability to type at least 25 WPM
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn specialized systems
- Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and professional communication style
- Must have reliable home internet: minimum 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload
