Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality support in Spanish, handling 30–40 consultations daily via phone, SMS, or chat
- Listen, troubleshoot, and resolve inquiries such as billing, account changes, app support, and retention
- Provide a “white glove” experience tailored to both language and cultural needs of Spanish-speaking users
- Maintain strong performance metrics across quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and NPS
- De-escalate conflicts with empathy while balancing customer and company needs
- Stay current on Thumbtack’s products, services, and policies
- Share feedback on customer trends and process improvements
- Collaborate with teammates through training and weekly development sessions
Requirements
- Bilingual: Fluent and professional Spanish proficiency (bonus if Portuguese as well)
- 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a call center environment
- Strong communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage high call/chat volume with accuracy and empathy
- Proven record of meeting attendance and performance expectations
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused
Compensation
- $31,900–$43,100 for most US locations
- $34,200–$46,000 for Austin, DC, CA, MA, NJ, or WA
- $38,600–$51,800 for San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, NYC, or Seattle metros
