Schedule
- Pay: $24.50–$36.50 per hour
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
- Fully remote role
Responsibilities
- Administer the credentialing and enrollment process for physicians and facilities
- Follow up with contracted plans to prioritize enrollment and credentialing activities
- Resolve enrollment errors and provide documentation to support reprocessing of claims
- Maintain provider information across databases and payer systems (Medicare, Medicaid, managed care plans, etc.)
- Identify and address delays, errors, and payment problems in enrollment and claims
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, hospital/physician billing practices, and third-party requirements
- Provide superior customer service via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred (or 4–5 years relevant experience)
- CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred (not required)
- 2–3 years of experience in a healthcare organization or large hospital facility
- Experience with PECOS, CAQH, MDstaff, or other credentialing software
- Knowledge of CPT, DRG, HCPC, procedure/revenue codes, and reimbursement impacts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis tools
