Schedule
- Full-time, remote position (Nationwide, US)
- Eastern Time shift alignment required

Responsibilities
- Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients regarding bills, insurance, EOB forms, and payment options
- Provide clear explanations of insurance coverage and billing processes
- Troubleshoot billing issues and resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Document and close cases accurately while maintaining compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to research denials, payments, and special requests
- Support special projects and additional department needs as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (healthcare call center experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), insurance plans, ICD-10, and CPT codes
- Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Strong math skills (percentages, decimals, fractions)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, and general computer systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex documents and policies
- Team-oriented, flexible, and able to communicate professionally with diverse individuals
