Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position (Nationwide, US)
  • Eastern Time shift alignment required
  • Eligible for performance-based incentive plan

Responsibilities

  • Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients regarding bills, insurance, EOB forms, and payment options
  • Provide clear explanations of insurance coverage and billing processes
  • Troubleshoot billing issues and resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Document and close cases accurately while maintaining compliance standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to research denials, payments, and special requests
  • Support special projects and additional department needs as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (healthcare call center experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), insurance plans, ICD-10, and CPT codes
  • Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Strong math skills (percentages, decimals, fractions)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, and general computer systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to understand and explain complex documents and policies
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and able to communicate professionally with diverse individuals
