Midi Health is hiring a Patient Experience Service Representative to manage high-touch interactions, resolve escalated concerns, and support patients throughout their care journey.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Remote, U.S.-based (quiet, distraction-free workspace required)
  • Standard business hours

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone, delivering empathetic and professional support
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls for patient support, scheduling, and service recovery
  • Resolve escalated patient concerns with compassion and discretion, escalating when necessary
  • Accurately document patient interactions in Zendesk and AthenaHealth EHR
  • Act as a patient advocate, collaborating with clinicians and internal teams to ensure timely solutions
  • Proactively identify areas for patient experience improvement and share feedback with leadership
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a patient-facing, high-touch healthcare role
  • 2+ years of experience using Zendesk (or comparable ticketing software)
  • 2+ years of experience using AthenaHealth (or comparable EHR system)
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Workspace
  • Demonstrated ability to handle escalated or frustrated patients with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong communication, judgment, and critical-thinking skills
  • Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and distraction-free home workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish or another language)
  • Experience in digital-first or startup healthcare environments
