What You’ll Do
Financial Records & Data Entry
- Record purchases, sales, receipts, and payments with accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile transactions to ensure complete, accurate data.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
- Issue payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor accounts receivable, send statements, and follow up on overdue balances.
Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Monitor cash balances and prepare forecasts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax filings.
Process & Stakeholder Support
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Train and support colleagues on bookkeeping best practices.
- Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and auditors.
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience (25+ years welcome).
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and professional client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
