Responsibilities
- Assist Credit and Collections Supervisor with collection of aged invoices to minimize uncollectible balances
- Communicate with customer contacts at various levels to resolve outstanding balances
- Post payments (ACH, wire, credit card) to customer invoices in Sage-Intacct daily
- Support billing for new and existing customer contracts
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, accounts, and payment history
- Collaborate with Customer Service to implement collection strategies and improve retention
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Customer Success on ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- 1–2 years of credit/collections experience OR a bachelor’s degree
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, continuously improving environment
- Professional demeanor when handling confrontational customer interactions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting tools
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $48,000–$58,000 annually (DOE)
- Up to 10% performance-based annual bonus
