What You’ll Do

Leadership

  • Supervise a team of AP specialists managing invoice and expense processing
  • Refine AP processes to optimize workflows and boost efficiency

Communication

  • Manage the AP inbox to ensure timely, accurate responses
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies professionally

Operations

  • Oversee invoice preparation, data verification, GL coding, and approval workflows
  • Manage enterprise-wide invoice and expense processing (including Ramp card management and training)
  • Reconcile AP sub-ledger with the general ledger and prepare accruals for month-end close
  • Lead AP system projects, including the transition from Stampli to Sage Intacct

Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee quarterly and annual compliance, including 1099 reporting
  • Prepare and deliver AP reports, including aging and vendor performance analysis

What You Need

  • 5+ years of AP and expense management experience, with at least 2 years leading a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based AP systems (Sage Intacct, Stampli, Ramp, etc.)
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communicator with proven vendor management and team collaboration skills
  • Adaptable leader with experience in change management and process optimization
  • Proficiency in Excel and technical aptitude across financial systems

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year
