Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Remote position (must reside in Arizona)
  • Flexible workday start between 6:00 AM – 9:30 AM (some locations may require 7:00 AM start)
  • Instructor-led training provided

Responsibilities

  • Work with insurance companies to resolve patient insurance claim issues.
  • Follow up on all patient accounts, escalating payer concerns as needed.
  • Ensure proper reimbursement, identify adjustments or write-offs, and resubmit corrected claims.
  • Review and resolve denials, short-pays, and correspondence from payers.
  • Interpret payer contracts to ensure accurate payment.
  • Process refunds and pursue overturned claim rejections.
  • Collaborate with other departments and communicate with payers via phone and web portals.
  • Support team development as a senior: mentor peers, provide job aids, assist with projects, and model CVS core values.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of professional work experience
  • Beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical billing, collections, AP/AR, or healthcare reimbursement
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, home infusion, or durable medical equipment (DME)
  • Strong attention to detail, urgency, and customer service mindset
  • Ability to train, guide, and collaborate with peers

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay: $18.50 – $35.29/hour (based on experience, education, and location)
