Schedule
- Part-time: 20 hours/week
- 100% remote (U.S. only)
- Flexible hours, aligned to payroll deadlines
What You’ll Do
- Process semi-monthly U.S. payroll across multiple states with full cycle ownership
- Conduct audits and ensure accuracy for timesheets, deductions, garnishments, tax filings, and benefit contributions
- Support administration of 401(k), health, wellness, and disability benefits
- Handle payroll tax registrations and compliance issues in partnership with state agencies and payroll provider
- Provide employee support for payroll and benefits-related inquiries
What You Need
- 3+ years of multi-state U.S. payroll experience (benefits exposure a plus)
- Familiarity with Paylocity and/or HiBob preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll compliance (FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, ERISA)
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and AI tools like ChatGPT
- Detail-driven, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented
