Schedule
- Full-time, remote (United States only)
- Flexible schedule aligned with proposal deadlines
- Salary range: $50,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and manage proposals, RFP responses, and business development documents
- Conduct research on companies, nonprofits, RFPs, and grants to identify opportunities
- Collaborate with technical experts to translate complex concepts into clear, persuasive language
- Create content highlighting product features, roadmaps, and UX/responsive design strategies
- Manage proposal schedules and deadlines, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements
- Develop presentations and graphics in collaboration with designers
- Interview stakeholders to inform proposal strategies and scope accurately
- Rewrite proposals based on feedback and maintain consistent, professional tone
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of proven proposal writing experience in the IT industry
- Strong portfolio with samples of technical and non-technical documentation
- Knowledge of Drupal (latest version, backend, and Core) — samples required
- Familiarity with UX and responsive design principles
- Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and proposal software (Adobe InDesign, Publisher, Photoshop)
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Positive, collaborative attitude
Nice to Have
- Drupal or WordPress site-building experience
- Hands-on website development (HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, XML, JSON, PHP, MySQL)
- Headless CMS and API integration experience
- Marketing knowledge (SEO, branding, design)
- Experience with app proposal responses
