Schedule
- Remote, freelance/1099 consulting role
- 1-month project-based contract
- Flexible work hours from home
- 7–8 hours of work per high school course reviewed (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2)
Compensation
- $300 per completed course
Responsibilities
- Review achievement level descriptors to ensure alignment and appropriateness for each course
- Review assessment items to confirm they accurately measure student performance on descriptors
- Apply teaching expertise to guarantee assessments are rigorous, fair, and relevant
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree or teaching certification required
- Minimum 5 years of high school math teaching experience
- Experience teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2
- Prior experience writing or reviewing large-scale assessments (preferred)
