Schedule
- Remote freelance role (U.S. or Canada)
- Hourly, based on experience
- Flexible hours with nights and weekends required for NFL game coverage and breaking news
Responsibilities
- Assist with social media marketing plans to grow followers and engagement across Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Collaborate with the Content team to create dynamic posts in multiple formats (images, videos, text) with viral potential
- Help shape creative direction for unique and entertaining fantasy sports content
- Stay current on social media trends, technologies, and best practices
- Uphold FantasyPros’ brand voice and identity across all platforms
- Contribute to live coverage of NFL games, including real-time posting and interaction with fans
Requirements
- Active fantasy sports player with deep understanding of fantasy football language and culture
- Proven social media experience across Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok, and more
- Creative, engaging personality with excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience producing content in multiple formats (written, visual, audio, video)
- Strong sense of what is appropriate for a media brand voice online
- Attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Availability during nights/weekends for live sports coverage
- Passion for sports
Preferred (but not required)
- Comfortable appearing on camera for social clips or product videos
- Ability to track and analyze social media metrics
- Knowledge of fantasy baseball and basketball
- Familiarity with sports betting
