Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, testable code following best practices
- Build, implement, and manage new website projects
- Create layouts and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from back-end services and databases
- Maintain and update websites, ensuring functionality, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot WordPress and hosting issues, resolve errors, and prevent downtime
- Monitor and optimize SEO, site traffic, and user engagement
- Collaborate with designers to ensure alignment with client brand vision
- Provide clear and timely documentation, reporting, and communication to clients
- Support e-commerce platforms and implement UX/UI best practices
Requirements
- Must reside and be authorized to work in the US
- 5+ years of demonstrated website development experience
- 5+ years working virtually in client-facing roles
- Expertise with WordPress (themes, plugins, site transfers, troubleshooting)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SEO optimization
- Familiarity with hosting platforms and migration processes
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and UI/UX best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Tech-savvy and confident with tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and project management software
