As a Social Media Assistant, you’ll help manage accounts, build engagement, and support growth strategies for a diverse range of clients.
Schedule
- Remote, US-based role
- 20–40 hours per week
- US work hours
Responsibilities
- Upload and curate engaging multimedia content
- Manage day-to-day social media interactions and inquiries
- Research audience profiles, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Develop and maintain content calendars and campaign schedules
- Write captions, descriptions, and other post copy in line with client voice
- Collaborate with internal teams on strategy and promotional initiatives
- Moderate conversations, manage feedback, and build audience rapport
- Research influencers and potential partnership opportunities
- Assist with ad campaign setup and monitoring
- General administrative and ad hoc tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in marketing or business
- At least 2 years of social media experience
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal, B2 or higher)
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, or similar design software
- A compelling creative portfolio across digital projects
- Reliable computer, headset, webcam, and stable internet (25 Mbps minimum, 10 Mbps backup)
