About Public Partnerships (PPL)
Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) is the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider. We help people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and aging adults remain at home while self-directing their long-term care. Starting in 2025, PPL will serve as the Statewide Fiscal Intermediary for New York’s CDPAP, supporting thousands of participants and their personal assistants. Our mission is to empower independence while delivering culturally sensitive and disability-competent care.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote (must be based in New York, US)
- Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
- Flexibility to support payroll deadlines and special projects as needed
Responsibilities
- Review payroll quality reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Oversee payroll calculations, postings, and disbursements per schedule
- Resolve payroll variances by analyzing large data sets
- Process CRM cases including adjustments and corrections
- Manage involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments
- Respond to garnishment and court orders by required deadlines
- Communicate with creditors and attorneys to resolve discrepancies
- Process garnishment refunds and returned checks
- Handle unclaimed property and uncashed checks processing
- Prepare audit documentation and respond to requests
- Maintain compliance with payroll policies and procedures
- Support other functions and complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree in Finance or related field preferred
- 1+ years of payroll, accounting, banking, operations, or clerical experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Concatenate)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems and applications
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Compensation
- $23.45 – $31.25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
