Schedule
- Full-time, non-exempt role
- Remote position, reporting to the SNF Billing Supervisor
- Flexible schedule with team meetings, committees, or calls as needed
What You’ll Do
- Work with residents and families to establish viable payer sources from entry through stay
- Process Medicaid applications and re-determinations
- Enter and maintain data in Utrack system
- Interact professionally with client and facility staff
- Escalate growing balances and unresolved issues to leadership
- Ensure facility operations follow procedure and compliance standards
- Communicate regularly with directors, administrators, and staff on potential issues
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to training of new A/R specialists
- Handle additional duties as assigned
What You Need
- Experience working with nursing home facilities and Medicaid applications
- Knowledge of NCS, MatrixCare, and/or PCC (preferred)
- Prior experience as a SNF A/R Collections Specialist (a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze information and identify options for resolution
- Collaborative mindset to engage with clients and team members
