Schedule

  • Full-time, remote role
  • Flexible hours to support team and client needs
  • Standard business hours with occasional adjustments for project deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Filing Admin team, including onboarding and training new hires
  • Oversee filing activities, state reporting, and client support to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Create and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training resources
  • Research and maintain state and jurisdictional compliance requirements
  • Handle and resolve escalated client or state issues, providing clear documentation
  • Manage team inboxes and assign tasks appropriately
  • Prepare reconciliation reports and assist with audits as needed
  • Lead team meetings to align on goals and priorities
  • Collaborate with leadership on project planning, execution, and reporting
  • Support technical needs within the team and maintain deep product knowledge
  • Promote adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and performance expectations

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
  • 2+ years of insurance industry experience
  • 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of surplus lines reporting and tax payment processes
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
