Schedule
- Full-time, remote role

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Filing Admin team, including onboarding and training new hires
- Oversee filing activities, state reporting, and client support to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Create and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training resources
- Research and maintain state and jurisdictional compliance requirements
- Handle and resolve escalated client or state issues, providing clear documentation
- Manage team inboxes and assign tasks appropriately
- Prepare reconciliation reports and assist with audits as needed
- Lead team meetings to align on goals and priorities
- Collaborate with leadership on project planning, execution, and reporting
- Support technical needs within the team and maintain deep product knowledge
- Promote adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and performance expectations
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience
- 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of surplus lines reporting and tax payment processes
- Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
