Our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, engineers, and problem-solvers delivers evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care at scale. Through our technology-driven platform, we engage patients early, conduct risk assessments, and provide personalized virtual care through pregnancy, NICU stays, and the postpartum year. We measure success by reducing preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections, and maternal mortality.

- Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CT
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, SMS, and email outreach to referred clients to drive doula enrollments.
- Document referrals and interactions accurately in company systems.
- Match clients with doulas in Pomelo’s national doula network.
- Educate clients on the benefits of doula care.
- Confirm health plan eligibility via clearinghouse and insurance portals.
- Coordinate with health plan case managers, providers, and doulas to share updates and ensure successful enrollment.
- Manage inbound calls from clients and partners, addressing questions and concerns.
- Track, monitor, and enroll referrals, ensuring timely processing.
- Achieve company KPIs for member enrollment.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay current on healthcare regulations and referral processes.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English (professional communication required).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Medicaid health plans.
- Experience working with healthcare referral systems.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely in a dedicated, private workspace.
- Passion for improving maternal and infant health.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Background in administrative or revenue-driving roles.
- Ability to scope and solve ambiguous problems.
Compensation
- $45,000 – $55,000 annual salary (based on experience and location)
