Responsibilities
- Review and analyze claims data to identify trends in submissions, denials, and payments.
- Research payer-specific processes and ensure compliance.
- Communicate with providers, insurance representatives, and internal teams.
- Submit required documentation to payors and clients.
- Apply healthcare regulations, payer policies, and coding guidelines to minimize denials and support appeals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (claims, coding, appeals, clinical) as needed.
- Support prior authorizations, claims, appeals, and documentation tasks.
- Perform additional responsibilities aligned with company values.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in laboratory billing with major insurers, Medicaid, and Medicare.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and coding.
- Familiarity with Xifin a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong communication skills; able to work independently and adapt quickly.
Compensation
- $31.25 – $33.65 per hour
