Schedule
- Full-time, 100% remote (must reside in one of the following states: CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, WI)
- Flexible schedules with early office close every Friday
Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle casualty claims, primarily auto casualty
- Handle injury and third-party property damage claims, including uninsured/underinsured motorists and homeowner’s liability
- Coordinate with appraisers on automobile physical damage claims
- Ensure compliance with claims policies, best practices, and jurisdictional guidelines
- Accurately document, process, and settle claims following Fair Claims Practices acts
- Maintain proficiency in claims systems, managing 55+ claim closures monthly
- Provide clear communication and customer support throughout claims resolution
Requirements
- Previous insurance or claims handling experience preferred
- Strong customer-facing experience (insurance, sales, public service, etc.)
- College degree strongly desired
- Knowledge of tort law, medical terms, and auto damage evaluation
- Ability to negotiate settlements and resolve claims efficiently
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Some state insurance licensing required (training provided)
Compensation
- $49,225 – $78,759 annually (salary based on skills, education, location, and experience)
