Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (U.S. or Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage implementation of benefit data feeds (EDI, API, flat file) across carriers, payroll, HRIS platforms, and vendors
  • Analyze specifications, map data, and configure file feeds according to required formats and protocols
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendor partners to ensure accurate setup and ongoing data integrity
  • Perform end-to-end testing, validate accuracy, and troubleshoot transmission errors
  • Monitor and maintain ongoing feeds, resolving issues quickly to ensure seamless operations
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for file-related issues and provide clear documentation of processes
  • Stay current with industry standards (HIPAA, EDI 834, COBRA, ACA reporting) and ensure compliance
  • Support special projects such as migrations, automation, and process improvements

Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in benefits administration, HR tech, or data integration
  • Familiarity with EDI formats, especially 834 enrollment files
  • Working knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, FSA/HSA plans
  • Experience with benefits platforms (bswift, enavigator highly preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
