Schedule
- Full-time, remote (US-based)
- May require after-hours or on-call support as needed
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, XML, TCP/IP, SFTP, IHE) to support integration design and troubleshooting
- Analyze client workflows and requirements to deliver tailored interface solutions
- Lead interface implementation: planning, documentation, testing, and issue resolution
- Train clients on software use and workflow impact
- Provide post-implementation support, ensuring timely issue resolution and client education
- Collaborate with internal teams to document defects, support QA, and improve development efforts
- Monitor project milestones, escalate risks, and ensure timely delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of HL7 interface experience
- Minimum 2 years of HL7 interface experience
- Knowledge of programming concepts and interfacing/middleware technology
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to resolve issues independently and in teams
Preferred
- Experience with enterprise software vendors
- Knowledge of healthcare applications
