Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required)
  • Up to 8 weeks of paid training provided (hours may vary, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST)
  • 100% remote role within the U.S.

What You’ll Do

  • Review, research, and process healthcare claims for payment accuracy
  • Investigate discrepancies, verify pricing, and confirm prior authorizations
  • Navigate multiple systems to locate key information
  • Analyze trends and generate reports
  • Consistently meet productivity, quality, and adherence standards

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Age 18+
  • 1+ years of experience in office, administrative, clerical, or customer service roles using phones and computers
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications and ability to learn new systems
  • Experience with UNET medical or behavioral health claims processing
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexible shift availability

Preferred

  • UNET behavioral health claims processing experience

Telecommuting Requirements

  • Dedicated, private home workspace that ensures confidentiality
  • Secure storage of company-sensitive documents
  • Approved high-speed internet connection (or ability to leverage existing service)
  • Adherence to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy
